A week after.

[–and that concludes my report regarding my investigation of the Ald family.]

I am currently in the Adventurer’s guild reporting my findings after checking out the Ald family’s estate for the past few days.

Listening around me here inside the guild are Rei, Em, Kaya, and the guild master, Arturo.
There’s also the B rank adventurer Yuya who immediately came over here all the way from the capital.

Considering our subject’s confidentiality, we’re now discussing matters inside the guild’s drawing room.
It’s not something anyone can just listen to after all.

After listening to everything I have said, Arturo crosses his arms with a bitter smile on his face.

[The Ald family, huh.
Not only they’re actively persecuting slaves and subjects, to think they’re even affiliated with SoA…] (TL: Sorry, got tired of Saviors of Arceus so shortening them to SoA.
Besides, in my vocab, Arceus is a god *Pokemon*.
lol)

[That’s true.
I guess there’s no doubt about it at this point.]

I’ve actually repeatedly infiltrated the Ald family’s estate for the past whole week.

.

No matter how much the Goddess urges me to wrap things up immediately with the Ald family, at the end, it’s just something that can only be easier said than done.

Because even if what she said is the truth, for a family of nobles who hold territory to collude with terrorists… a investigation still has to formally take place and substantive evidence must be obtained.

So as for the resulst, I was able to verify quite a few things.

The SoAs are into something that needs quite a lot of money.
And that’s where their relationship with the Ald family comes as these nobles became the source of their funding.

And with this, Euphias Ald, the head of the family, in exchange, was able to satisfy his desires.

Yuya who’s just been listening earlier speaks with a stern look on his face.

Back when I and Yuya raided a hideout of SOA, we were able to find a lot of young women that seemed to be held as prisoners.
And one of them was my personal maid — Maeri Robalt.

[The head of the Ald family, Euphias Ald, appears to have quite the sadistic tendencies.
Every night, I end up listening to screams of women I don’t ever want to hear.]

Em nods her head in agreement to what I said.

Em wipes her tears as she looks at us as she resumes her story.

Arturo then replies to Kaya as his eyes wander to each one of us.

[I would like to request this to all of you.
This operation involves a raid to the estate of a prestigious noble’s family, the Ald Estate, as well as securing the safety of it’s head, Euphias Ald… Can I leave both of these tasks to you?]

Everyone in the room hearing what the guild master had said, me included, nodded our heads.

.

SoA as a group is quite a fearful enemy but everyone has grown stronger from the training the last few days.
I don’t think it would be that dangerous unless any one of us gets isolated.

.

Not to mention but I’ll increase everyone’s ability as well using cheat code manipulation, you know.

.

[But really… Arios-sama’s really quite something, isn’t he.
I’ve always thought that it would be great if Euphias-sama gets caught once and for all but… Not even one in the estate has noticed his shady activities, and yet…]

[Umu.
That’s true.]

Em speaks right after we accepted the request and after listening to what she said, Arturo nods his head.

[I’ve heard as well of how tight the security of that estate is but not even I would imagine them to be connected to SoA….
It really is a blessing that you get the wind of it.]

[Man, can’t agree more with that.]

.

Even Yuya joins the fray with admiration all over his face.

.

[There’s also the fact that it’s being used as a base of SoA which makes that place practically impossible to infiltrate.
Those bunch are really strong after all.]

[…No, no, no.
I just got lucky, you know.]

It’s getting a bit awkward for me so I hope they let me off with this.

[It’s really just a coincidence that I was able to find traces of the relationship between the SoA and the Ald family…]

[And I’ve been saying that even finding those traces which are included in ‘infiltration’ is practically impossible.]

The talk ended with Yuya rebutting what I said.
