“You’re my favourite of the day, beautiful… Are you in the right audition? I don’t seem to have your bio.”

Su Cheng flipped through his documents to double confirm it.

Underneath the new costume and mask, Lu Zhaoyang wanted to flip Su Cheng’s table.

What a superficial man!

Su Cheng snatched Huo Yunting’s glass away and pointed the man’s head at the lady in front of them — a lady dressed in a long and black lace dress with a cute rabbit mask.

“I was called at the last minute, boss, that’s why.”

Lu Zhaoyang spoke in a lower voice to avoid being recognized.

Lu Zhaoyang ignored him and looked straight at Huo Yunting, who was smiling at her.

Lu Zhaoyang approached him slowly and began tracing her fingers upward along his arm.

I will find out which program she is auditioning for.”

Su Cheng began flipping through his phone book for a list of contacts for the different shows in his company.

He was so focused in his endeavour that he did not notice Huo Yunting standing up and preparing to leave.

“Hey, where are you going? We’re not done yet, what about lunch?” Su Cheng flung away his phone book and stood up as well.
“Fine, I didn’t have breakfast, so let’s have an early lunch.”
